Posted about the same trailer at a later time.)
Are we talking about two different Scamps being stolen or just one ? Do hitch locks work or are they easy to by pass.
Have Scamp will travel !
She said it had one but never replied to the Question of what kind. Most people do nothing about the safety chains, Trailers have been stolen using the chains also. I wrap them around the hitch and lock then. Scamps need other (hidden) devices as well, they are light and can be moved by hand after all.
Just one. Same trailer, just somebody's security camera caught it being stolen.
Hitch locks can be helpful, the best option being the ones that fully cover the hitch.
Good insurance is probably the best option.

From: Debbie Christin It was found in good shape. Drug addicts took up residence but were evicted today by Kent police. It appears everything was still in it and minimal damage was done. It's dirty and covered in fingerprint dust but we are glad to have it back. The power of Facebook is amazing. My lil scamp was only found because of people sharing and spreading the word. The lead came directly from Facebook that lead to the police and us recovering it. Thanks to everyone that commented, shared, got the word out and let us know when they saw it.
This is truly amazing. I never would have thought it could have been recovered. Wonderful news.
