Lithium ion batteries?

Has anyone tried replacing the standard Group 27 battery with a lithium ion battery? I like the idea of not having to deal with a new battery for a long time.

If I were to do so, would my current power converter (2020 16'Scamp) need to be changed out?

Thank you!

I was told...

...that adding the "Remote Pendant" would allow mine to fully charge the battery, (LiFePO4 batteries on mine) I also have a dc to dc charger for the tow vehicle and a solar panel to charge the LiFePO4. It looks like it's working but I have not been out for a weekend yet. Check the model number on your .converter. https://amzn.to/3J4j5gy

good information. thanks! had a common sense idea and simply looked at my power converter instead of trying to find it online. Duh! Went to the Progressive Dynamics website and they have a nice chart of how to choose the replacement converter/charger based on what you already have. haven't chosen a battery yet, but Battle Born will send a quote for both the battery and charger that will supposedly include some discounts. Not sure I want to spend the $ for Battle Born, but their customer service is purported to be stellar, and that has been true for me so far today.
