I am new to RVing, and after doing much research, I really like the Scamp 19' model. One of my concerns is storage and moveability. I plan on storing the RV on my driveway, but I only have a 21 foot section on the side of my driveway. My concern is being able to move the trailer after un-hitched from the truck. I would need to move it by hand. I have been looking for a dolly set-up, but having a hard time finding something for a 5th wheel set up. Most dolly's work for travel trailer hitch set up. Anyone advice? Anyone using a dolly set up to move the 5th wheel RV? If so, pictures would be appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure the the LG are retracted, but not over the limit. 8" caster welded to a base plate. I never used them. Eddie
Thank you for the information, but pardon my ignorance. What are "the LG"? How are you using this set up? What is resting on the wheel? Again, I apologize, but I am very much a newbie to this. Thanks!

I looked high and low for a dolly system when we bought our 19 foot scamp. After about two weeks of looking I settled on exactly the same solution as Eddie: Casters.
I also have never used them, but unlike Eddie, I never even bought them. Instead of moving the trailer onto another trailer (the reason I was looking) we just fixed up the bearings, replaced the wheels and tires and bought a truck. Somehow, all that was easier than arranging a tow for one of these things.
Yes, we bought a fifth wheel when we didn't even own a truck. Stop laughing.
Landing gear (LG) are your front support legs. The LG are square metal tubes kind of like what road signs are mounted to. LG have detachable metal plates (sometimes called feet) on the bottom to distribute the load as not to sink into the ground. The casters are welded to an extra set of feet. I have not used these casters. To just swing the front of my S-19 around in my barn with a concrete floor I placed 6x6 across the frame just behind the LG. I would jack the trailer with about 1/4" LG ground clearance with a rolling floor jack. Then pull the jack while someone pushed on the hitch to swing the front around. I only did this to align in the barn for storage. The landing gear are built for vertical loads you take your chances on bending them with side loading.
