We are preparing for our first big trip in the new Scamp, and in booking sites we aree offered water/electric sites. So far we have only boondocked. With a water hookup, I presume we must bring our own hose!? Do I bring the 25 foot garden hose from the house or do they sell a shorter one that is more appropriate for the camper? Anthony

Water hose question!
I carry two white 25’ RV hoses (one has never been unrolled) a “y” adapter, and a 3’ hose to fill jugs etcetera with. The reason for the white hoses it so that they never get used for anything else. Don’t forget the filter and pressure regulator.
Hmm....what's the filter and pressure regulator for? You don't just screw the hose onto the camper fixture and turn on the water?

Some campgrounds may have rust or sand in the water a filter will keep it out of the water heater.
The regulator keeps the pressure to a preset amount. I have only popped an in RV line one time, that was plenty, I have also had a hose pop because my regulator was at the RV, best to put it at the hose bib (faucet). I also turn off the water when not at the camp site, and I only run the water heater when I need hot water.
