Tail lights/signals not working

Just came back from camping a few days ago in my 13 foot Scamp and the tail lights didn't work on the way home.  Just got this the end of December.  I have a 7 way tester and plugged into the car plug and seems fine.  I do have an apt.

scheduled next week at a local place to have this looked at but any ideas? Would this be under warranty? Worked fine 3 weeks ago.  Thanks

Tail lights/signals not working

Did they work before? It would be odd for both Turn/Stop and the tail lights to fail at the same time. The only thing in common is the ground wire and the ground may be made with the ball hitch. Is the plug pushed in firmly?

Tail lights working now

Was the car plug, went back to U-Haul and they re-installed everything and is working now.   This is the second time they re-wired because the first time they had it wired so that whenever it was plugged in the tail lights on the trailer stayed on even if the car lights were off.  So relieved to have this fixed so I can plan another trip.

Brake lights

Brake lights are not working, turn signals work , have had all hitch parts checked, have checked all splice points checked, as advised by Scamp. Any ideas?

Trace Power

I'd double check the brake pin on the tow vehicle with a multimeter or 7pin tester. Then test with the multimeter at the taillights for brake light voltage. Check the grounds at the lights as both lights being out does usually end up being ground related. You mention turn signals working, how about running lights, are they working and it's only brake light issue?

All the lights are working

All the lights are working now.  Just hope it does not happen again.  They thought the problem was possibly a faulty ground but I don't know for sure.  Thanks to everyone for the suggestions.
