Exterior wash/polishing and roof

Thanks to all for past info.  And Greg, the KOA campground outside the St. Mary/Glacier Entrance was great.  Thank you for the referral.    After a number of trips and regular washings, it was time to wash and "polish".  I've been using the Mequiars wash and the polish gel.  So what's the issue?  Even with a platform bench I can only reach about a foot in on the roof.  I can see the multitude of insects that have met their untimely demise on the frontside of the A/C cover and the reality is that the sun will in time take its toll on the roof.  So how are you Scampers dealing with the roof???  To date, I have not used brushes or power washers but certainly receptive hearing how you clean.

Thank you,

Barb

Ladder

Little Giant ladder or their clones work pretty well. They are stable with a wide spread leg base. They can be adjusted with one side vertical to come close to the trailer side. There is less chance of the ladder kicking out in this position. They come as a 6 ft. step ladder extended but the 8ft models work much better and can get you closer to the center. The only draw back is they are heavy especially the older ones.

I was wondering the same. I

I was wondering the same. I fell off the ladder covering it up for the winter last year so I'm hesitant trying too many maneuvers on the ladder. I'm thinking of trying a rag mop for washing looking for suggestions on waxing.
