Scamp on the older 13 models simply used a one stage BBQ regulatorwhich is what I've always replaced it with. You could go with a two stage for twin tanks ,just plumb one side. Then if you ever wanted to add twin propane tanks then you could add a dual tank tray and second tank. The 13 Scamp really doesn't need twin tanks, but if one wanted to mod a quick connect for an outside Stove/BBQ/Propane firepit then you would definitely want twin tanks. I used to have a propane tree and carry an extra tank for all the outside stuff, but I really love having the twin tanks and quick connect system on my trailer and not having to carry an extra propane tank in the truck.
