Just purchased a 2010 Scamp 16 Standard that is layout 4, it has a pristine interior and I have a couple questions.
1. what do you do with the rats fur around the stove to keep it clean?
2. How scratch resistant are the fiberglass counters? Any recommendations to keep from scratching them up, besides not using them :).
thanks in advance.
I always worried about cooking smells, steam with grease in it, etc. in both our large RVs, let alone our Scamp with the rat fur. I very rarely use the stove in our fifth wheel--we have a portable grill. I have a little tabletop propane grill for the Scamp. If you have an awning, perfect little outdoor kitchen. If the weather is totally horrid sandwiches for dinner! I am just careful with the countertop, I use inexpensive dishtowels under the coffeemaker and toaster to catch spills and protect the countertop.

thanks,
I think that is what the previous owner did, the stove top is perfect no heat marks or discoloration of the burners. We're former tent campers so have a variety of outdoor cooking options. For the countertops we're looking at some of the Silcone & Acrylic counter protectors.
