Water drains slowly from sink!?

I picked up our new 13 footer in July and from day one the sink has drained slowly. The water does eventually go down but takes some time. I've been assuming that this is a built in feature, possibly to keep water from splashing out of the holding tank during travel. Would this be correct or is there an issue here that needs attention?

Water drains slowly

There's not much to go wrong. Follow the drain hose and look for a tight turn or a pinch. It has happened before. Next after that would be the vent of the grey water tank.

Slow Drain

The hose barb for the drain hose on the gray water tank points straight up. The drain hose tends to kink at that connection. I had to support the hose to allow the water to drain well. I don't know why Scamp doesn't put a 45º fitting there. The drain hose connection can be checked by looking in the drivers side rear compartment. The sink end of the drain hose can be checked by taking out the silverware drawer. Two screws inside the drawer, one on each side, hold it in.

When we owned our Scamp, it

When we owned our Scamp, it did the same thing, drained slowly. At parks we would connect the hose to the drain and just leave the gray water hose T handle pulled open. Problem solved.
